You do not need to clad the whole house. One well-placed woodgrain feature can carry all the warmth a home needs.
Pick one surface
The most cost-effective move is to choose the single most visible surface - the entry, a projecting volume, the street-facing gable - and do it well, rather than spreading a thin budget over the whole facade.
Make it deliberate
Clad that one wall edge to edge in woodgrain against render or masonry elsewhere, and consider a batten screen over part of it for depth. The contained feature looks intentional, not unfinished.
Why it works
A feature wall is the most-seen surface on the house, so aluminium's stable finish keeps it looking right for years. A small, lasting feature beats a large, weathering one.
