On bushfire-prone land, the owners wanted a timber look that worked with their BAL requirements.
The brief
On bushfire-prone land, the owners wanted a timber look that worked with their BAL requirements.
The approach
We specified woodgrain aluminium facade systems in our Spotted Gum finish - warm mid-brown with subtle grey and chocolate streaks. Non-combustible facade and soffit linings delivered the warmth of timber while keeping the build low-maintenance and suited to the local climate.
The Spotted Gum look is facades and fences that want a warm, natural Australian hardwood character - which made it a natural fit for this bushfire-zone family home.
The result
A finished project with a genuine timber aesthetic that needs no oiling or repainting - and stands up to Bowral conditions for the long term. See Facades in Bowral ›
